MARRIAGES  IN OUR  CHURCH
1. We have a great group of couples marrying here this year. Please book for 2008 to avoid disappointment for dates.
2. Couples who have celebrated a civil marriage and want to celebrate the sacramental marriage please see Mgr Kevin.
3. You must give 6 months notice to receive permission to marry in any parish.
4.  We are very grateful to Liz and Steve O Brien for becoming civil marriage registrars for the parish.

Wedding Banns are published again today with our community on the notice board for those couples who have asked to be married here according to the rites of Holy MotherChurch. In accordance with canon 1069 anyone who knows of any impediment why any of these people may not be married are bound to reveal such information to the Parish Priest or the Bishop. Any couples marrying elsewhere in 2008 must give notice to the Parish Office now so that their banns can be published and certified.

BRINGING THE GIFTS TO THE ALTAR
It is a lovely custom here that our gifts of bread and wine are presented by those who have asked for the mass to be celebrated for a particular intention.
We will not always be aware of who the individuals involved are. Please let the welcomers in the porch know so that they can arrange with you what happens.
Several people can easily be part of the procession, so just ask.
